Whether you are an experienced student or completely new to yoga, our yoga workshops in St. Helens, Merseyside offer inspiration, insight, and focus . The perfect way to deepen and expand your practice.

Workshops are a great way to break down certain postures or themes.  A standard yoga class follows a typical (somewhat rigid) structure whereas a workshop gives you the opportunity to go DEEP into a specific topic such as arm balances, backbends, etc.

WORKSHOPS & EVENTS

This workshop is taught by trauma-informed integrative former Yogatherapist, Leanne Tipton. She has a special interest in improving the Autonomic Nervous System and Vagal Tone to help her patients reduce chronic conditions like pain, gut disorders, inflammation, stress, anxiety and depression. If you experience any of the following symptoms this workshop can help you: Anxiety, fear, emotional overwhelm or have difficulty switching off. Depression, feel stuck, flat or lack motivation. Digestive issues such as IBS, SIBO, pain, constipation or bloating. Chronic pain, aches or muscle tension. Autoimmune issues such as fibromyalgia or polymyalgia. Insomnia. Have experienced trauma, high levels of stress or adversity. Long-term fatigue. In this 2 hour foundational workshop, you’ll learn how your nervous system operates, how it affects the body when out of balance, understand the different states of hyper- and hypo-arousal, PLUS receive a toolbox of practical exercises to regulate your nervous system and rebuild resilience.

Over a few hours, Leanne will be guiding you through a selection of playful & relaxing yoga flows, nourishing breathing techniques, abhyanga self-massage with lovely essential oils, FaceYoga marma massage, and a loving guided meditation, washed down with a soothing warm cacao or golden milk.
